We are pleased to advise that one of our long serving members, Lieutenant Commander Martin Shakespeare RNR, was a recipient of the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for 2019.

We have congratulated Martin who advises that it was very unexpected and he is still trying to get his head around it!

Martin went on to say that he could not have done it without the support he had received throughout his RNR career, or without the help and assistance from his wife.
